Job Summary
Cryptologic Computer Scientist 2 role focusing on designing, developing, delivering, and operating solutions to hard cryptologic computer science problems within a scientific framework. Responsibilities include creating solutions derived from forensics and attack attribution, facilitating protection of critical networks and active systems, conducting knowledge discovery of passive and active systems, applying computer science knowledge (operating systems, compiler theory, database theory, algorithm analysis, computer architecture, discrete math, programming language theory, data structures) to provide state-of-the-art techniques and tools, with emphasis on access discovery and enablement experience and familiarity with analytic modernization tools. Experience with automation and scripting using Python and Jupyter Notebooks is required; C++ and mobile app analysis experience and CNO experience are preferred. Required Qualifications
- Clearance Level: TS/SCI with FS Poly
- Education/Experience: Master’s degree with 3 years of relevant experience; Bachelor’s Degree with 5 years of relevant experience; Associates degree with 7 years of relevant experience
- Degree must be in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field with at least one programming and at least 4 upper-level math classes (Calculus and above)
- Relevant experience in computer science areas (theoretical or applied), simulation/model development, algorithm design, reverse engineering, and developing computer/information systems
- Programming and scripting: Python and Jupyter Notebooks; C++, mobile app analysis experience; CNO preferred
