Job Summary
Crypto - Quantitative Researcher at Qube Research & Technologies focuses on creating high-quality predictive signals from large crypto datasets, identifying statistical patterns, sharing research results with colleagues, implementing signals within the global execution platform, and monitoring model performance over time. The role requires an advanced quantitative degree, at least 2 years in finance, proficiency in Python (C++ beneficial), and knowledge of statistics, ML, NLP or AI techniques, with additional preference for crypto data experience, DeFi, latency-sensitive environments, and production experience. The candidate will collaborate with researchers, technologists, and traders worldwide to solve complex problems and drive innovative data-driven investment strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a quantitative field such as data science, statistics, mathematics, physics or engineering
- Minimum 2 years of experience in the financial industry
- Strong knowledge in statistics, machine learning, NLP or AI techniques is a plus
- Coding skills in Python (preferred) or C++ (beneficial)
- Experience with crypto-specific data sets, DeFi, latency-sensitive or production strategies is a plus
- Capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
- Good fundamental crypto knowledge is a plus
- Capacity to work autonomously within a collaborative environment
- Strong communication with technologists, data scientists and traders across the globe
