Crypto Operations Lead
Remote
Job Summary
Senior Crypto Operations Lead to own end-to-end on-chain treasury operations across multiple entities and jurisdictions. You will design and operate the wallet architecture (Gnosis Safe and Zodiac), manage liquidity positioning and hedging, own the incident response and runbook framework, and deliver auditable treasury reporting. You’ll drive the evolution of the wallet architecture over time, own the cold-custody program, and collaborate with Finance, Security, and Investment teams. Responsibilities include ensuring operation integrity and security of the treasury, incident response escalation paths, liquidity execution, wallet signing workflows, and providing governance-ready data for FP&A, investors, and community transparency. Must have crypto-native experience, self-custody discipline, automation-first mindset, and comfort operating across a multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction structure; remote/async readiness and on-call availability are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Crypto-native operator with experience running institutional-grade crypto treasury operations (self-custody)
- Hands-on experience with DeFi protocol operations or related security engineering in crypto
- Fluent with Gnosis Safe and Zodiac modules (Roles Modifier, Delay Modifier, Guards) and related operational discipline
- Deep self-custody mindset; ability to articulate risks and mitigations of self-custody vs centralized custody
- Experience operating treasury across multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction structures and designing processes within regulatory constraints
- Hands-on operator and builder who designs frameworks and executes runbooks, alerts, drills, and signing workflows
- Engineering rigor: documentation, runbooks, deployable infrastructure, auditable workflows
- Strong automation bias; prefer tooling/code over manual checklists for operational tasks
- Comfortable with remote/async operations and on-call expectations during emergencies
- Track record executing liquidity moves and hedges across DeFi venues and centralized counterparties
- Familiarity with monitoring and response stacks (Tenderly, Defender, Hypernative, Forta, Den, PagerDuty or equivalents)
- Experience designing auditable workflows in fast-moving environments and leading teams through adoption
- Willingness to participate in a compensated task/assessment and multi-stage interview process
