Job Summary
The Cryovac Operator is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of production equipment, which includes sterile sealed bag filling and packaging. Key responsibilities involve following standard operating procedures without deviation, conducting routine quality tests, setting up production equipment, and maintaining documentation. This role requires the ability to operate a pallet jack and forklift, perform equipment inspections, and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations. Required Qualifications
- Safe and efficient operation of production equipment
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures (SOP’s)
- Collect routine product samples and perform testing
- Set-up and use appropriate film and film size
- Meet customer order and demand plans
- Perform routine equipment inspections and adjustments
- Safe operation of a pallet jack and forklift
- Accurately complete production records
- Perform equipment change-overs and clean-up
- Support internal and external audits
- Comply with federal, state, and local dairy food regulations
