Job Summary
Health Services Coordinator/LPN, a full-time role in Astoria, OR, responsible for ethical and professional delivery of health services to residents of an assisted-living facility. Coordinates medication delivery with physician orders, facilitates staff training and annual in-service requirements, develops and maintains policies affecting health care delivery, coordinates resident service plans, participates in quality assurance and infection control efforts, supervises health-services staff (including Personal Care Attendants/Team Leaders), and collaborates with the administrator on budget and licensure compliance. Requires LPN licensure in Oregon, nursing education, and at least six months in an extended care setting; strong leadership, teaching, decision-making, and willingness to engage in continuing geriatric education.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited program of nursing education
- Current registration in the State of Oregon
- Six months experience in an extended care facility
- Ability to manage and supervise employees
- Willingness to attend workshops and institutes in field of Geriatrics
