Job Summary
Crushing Supervisor on shift operations at crushing sites. Supervises personnel performing routine operations at crushers, with knowledge of aggregate material types and production methods. Responsible for equipment start up and shutdown, environmental compliance, workplace examinations, and safety meetings to target zero incidents. Performs equipment repairs as needed and sources outside support. Ensures safe operation of crusher areas during the shift, with regular safety training of personnel.
Required Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in the mining industry or equivalent from a recognized institute
- 5 years of proven experience in crushing and screening plants and conveying and stacking systems
- Must have prior supervisory experience
- Experienced in environmental procedures and quality control
- Working outdoors, varied temperatures, and weather conditions
- Working indoors in varied conditions (i.e. hot, noisy, and dusty)
- Working rotating shifts, overtime and weekends when required
- Effortless mobility through all areas of the plant
- Working at heights
