Job Summary
Update supply/demand models to support marketing decisions and track daily commodity prices, pipeline flows, inventory levels, and macro/micro variables. Generate daily and weekly pricing and commodity commentary reports to guide marketing strategy, while researching oil sands production trends, commodity differentials, and refinery outages. Assist in creating advanced PowerPoint presentations and support commercial efforts through Excel modeling and evaluation of opportunities. Handle ad hoc requests and analysis as required. This student role offers flexible term lengths of 8 or 4 months starting May or September 2027, with a 5-on/2-off schedule. Required Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in your 2nd or 3rd year degree program in Engineering, Accounting, Finance or Business
- All candidates applying to Canadian Natural must have legal authorization to work in Canada with no restrictions
Desired Qualifications
- Previous oil and gas marketing experience
- Expertise using Microsoft Excel, Word, and Power Point
- Knowledge of Power BI, Access or other SQL platforms
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic with a demonstrable ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment
- Ability to track and follow through on tasks
