Job Summary
Administer medication and implement respiratory care using the evaluate-and-treat process in critical care areas. Perform patient assessments, ventilator management, airway procedures, and arterial blood gas sampling while collaborating with the health care team. Educate patients and families, mentor new employees, and coordinate activities to support staff development. Maintain accurate electronic documentation, ensure medication safety, and promote evidence-based practice initiatives. Requires NBRC-RRT certification, 0-2 years of clinical experience with at least 6 months in critical care. Night shift position at Wellstar Health System in the United States.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Respiratory Therapy or Bachelors Respiratory Therapy
- NBRC-RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist
- RCP - Respiratory Care Professional
- 0-2 yrs clinical experience
- 6-months critical care experience
- Ability to communicate well
- Critical thinking skills
- Establish and maintain working relationships with physicians and other health care professionals
- Computer skills including familiarity with databases
- Good customer relation skills
- Assessment skills
- Communication skills
