Job Summary
Provide evaluation and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies, assessing treatment needs and developing care plans. Implement and monitor patient care, perform advanced respiratory modalities, and educate patients and families on health conditions. Respond to emergency resuscitation team calls and assist with equipment calibration, maintenance, and sterilization procedures. Monitor, record, and communicate patient status while evaluating practice based on outcomes. Full-time nights shift (7p-7a) with every third weekend off; PRN available. Licensed Respiratory Therapist with BLS certification required.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the Alabama Board of Respiratory Therapy
- Certified Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Graduate from an accredited School of Respiratory Therapy
