Job Summary
Provide evaluation and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies, assessing treatment needs and developing care plans. Implement and monitor patient care plans and equipment while performing advanced respiratory care modalities. Educate patients and families on health conditions and available community support programs. Respond to emergency resuscitation team calls and assist with equipment calibration, maintenance, and sterilization procedures. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions to the team.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the Alabama Board of Respiratory Therapy
- Certified Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Graduate from an accredited School of Respiratory Therapy
