Job Summary
Evaluate and provide care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies, assessing treatment needs and developing individualized care plans. Implement and monitor advanced respiratory modalities and medication administration while documenting patient conditions. Educate patients and families on health conditions and community resources. Assist with equipment calibration, maintenance, sterilization, and inventory management. Respond to emergency resuscitation team calls. Full-time night shift (7p-7a) with every third weekend off; PRN available. Requires Alabama Board licensure and NBRC certification.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the Alabama Board of Respiratory Therapy
- Certified Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Graduate from an accredited School of Respiratory Therapy
