Job Summary
Provide evaluation and care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies, assessing treatment needs and developing care plans. Implement and monitor patient care plans, perform advanced respiratory modalities, and educate patients and families on conditions and support resources. Monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions while assisting with equipment calibration, maintenance, inventory management, and sterilization procedures. Respond to emergency resuscitation team calls. Full-time nights shift (7p-7a) with every third weekend off; PRN available. Requires Alabama Board licensure and NBRC certification.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the Alabama Board of Respiratory Therapy
- Certified Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Graduate from an accredited School of Respiratory Therapy
