CRT - Certified Respiratory Therapist - Multiple Shifts

Job Summary
Evaluate and provide care for patients with respiratory insufficiencies, assessing treatment needs and developing care plans based on diagnosis. Implement and monitor patient care plans, perform advanced respiratory modalities, and communicate patient conditions. Educate patients and families regarding health conditions and community resources. Assist with equipment calibration, maintenance, and sterilization while maintaining departmental inventory levels. Respond to emergency resuscitation team calls. This role includes full-time days and nights shifts at UAB St. Vincent's Birmingham, with a sign-on bonus available for eligible full-time hires.
Required Qualifications
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date
- Licensed Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the Alabama Board of Respiratory Therapy
- Certified Respiratory Therapist credentialed from the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC)
- Graduate from an accredited School of Respiratory Therapy
- Schedule: Full Time - Days and Nights, 7 to 7 or Sunday's 6:30am to 7:00pm with Saturday as needed
- PRN available
