Job Summary
Create and maintain dashboards, visualizations, and reports to track program and strategy performance by pulling from grants, finance, and program data across IRC's core business systems including Integra, OTIS, Salesforce, and PID. Analyze and interpret large datasets to uncover trends and patterns that inform global program strategies and resource allocation decisions. Work closely with cross-functional teams such as programs, fundraising, marketing, and finance to ensure data is well represented and meets stakeholder needs. Identify opportunities to enhance data collection and reporting processes while collaborating on best practices in coding, statistics, and general analysis. This role supports the METAL Unit within the Crisis Response, Recovery and Development Department, focusing on bringing together data to offer management insights into achieving strategic goals.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years working in the field of data analytics
- 2+ years' experience in international humanitarian aid or development
- Proven experience with enterprise data sets
- Technical skills across the data stack: cloud lakehouse platforms (Databricks preferred)
- Python
- SQL
- dbt or equivalent transformation tooling
- pipeline orchestration
- BI/visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
- Demonstrable experience planning and executing complex analytics projects across multiple stakeholders
- More than two years of professional experience with PowerBI
- Strong data visualization and communication skills
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Curiosity and willingness to explore complex and ambiguous problems
- Highly collaborative and pro-active colleague
- Strong attention to detail
- This role may require working remotely full or part time
- This is a hybrid position open to internals candidates based in countries where IRC operates
