Job Summary
Create gaps in traffic to ensure student safety during morning and afternoon school crossings. Stand at assigned posts, using hand signals and stop signs to direct vehicular traffic and deter unsafe acts. Project a positive public image while observing and reporting hazards, unusual situations, or incidents to supervisors. Arrive promptly, remain at post throughout shifts, and notify management one hour prior to any missed coverage. Adhere to all traffic laws, school policies, and directives from the Superintendent, Police Department, and Building Principal.

- Ability to work well with students, staff and community members
- Is of good moral character
- Ability to operate independently as well as a member of a team
- can use sound judgement in handling matters while maintaining a safe physical environment for all students
