Job Summary
Assure the safety of children crossing street intersections at designated areas while wearing a City-provided safety vest and carrying a STOP sign. Stand, walk, and use hand strength to handle the sign during shifts that may include extreme heat, cold, or icy surfaces. Complete required training and pass a quiz before employment begins, maintaining regular attendance and the ability to work independently. Supervise students effectively while maintaining a positive relationship, demonstrating willingness to work in adverse weather conditions and with varied traffic noise levels.
