Job Summary
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for assigned patients in the Cross Sectional Interventional Radiology unit, prioritizing acuity and maintaining clear communication. Document patient care comprehensively, develop discharge plans, and administer medications safely while adhering to infection control protocols. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, participate in quality improvement programs, and contribute to unit-based research and educational initiatives. Provide functional supervision to other RNs and technical staff, and perform waived point-of-care testing. Requires 3 years of ICU/Critical Care experience with preferred IR and procedural sedation skills; 30-hour rotating shifts with on-call requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse registered in Massachusetts
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing
- Minimum of 3 years of ICU/Critical Care experience
- ACLS certification
- Able to work on call requirements per the MNA contract
