Job Summary
Perform high quality CT and MRI examinations in accordance with departmental protocols, ensuring patients are appropriately prepared, informed, and supported throughout the imaging pathway. Produce diagnostic quality images while administering contrast media safely and monitoring patients for clinical concerns. Maintain accurate patient records, adhere to radiation protection and MRI safety requirements, and participate in equipment quality assurance and governance activities. Collaborate with radiologists, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams to support service improvement initiatives and operational needs.
Required Qualifications
- HCPC registered Radiographer
- experience in CT, MRI, or both
- strong commitment to delivering safe, effective, and compassionate patient care
- confidence working in a busy clinical environment
- ability to produce high-quality diagnostic imaging
- ability to maintain excellent patient experience standards
- strong technical expertise
- excellent communication skills
