Job Summary
Cross Functional Store Manager in Training at CarMax leads a 10–15 person team across multiple areas to drive a world-class customer experience and meet store budgets and performance metrics. Responsibilities include planning daily operations, managing staffing levels, enabling tools and training for associates, analyzing and presenting business results to leadership, developing and engaging associates, overseeing training across sales, service, merchandising, and operations, and ensuring compliance with asset protection, risk management, and EH&S standards. The role includes driving process improvements, supervising training, and supporting a safe, efficient store environment while working a rotating schedule and occasional travel.
