Job Summary
Develop and execute store budget strategies to meet performance metrics aligned with corporate goals. Plan and manage daily operations, monitor staffing levels, and adjust proactively to ensure associates have the tools and training needed for a seamless customer experience. Analyze business results for the Location General Manager and lead associate development through timely feedback and performance management. Oversee training across sales, service, merchandising, and operations while ensuring compliance with asset protection, risk management, and Environmental, Health and Safety standards. This Cross Functional Store Manager role supports CarMax's mission to revolutionize the used car buying experience, empowering a team of 10–15 associates to deliver transparency and integrity.
