Cross Functional Associate I Saint Vincent Hospital

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in the Operating Room and Sterile Processing Department by assisting with room turnover, waste disposal, and daily cleaning procedures. Complete assigned tasks in SPD under direct supervision while anticipating equipment needs and transporting supplies to and from the OR. Restock designated areas, order department supplies, and ensure proper room setup for upcoming cases. Assist with patient positioning, identification, and safe transport to and from the operating room, including post-mortem care and specimen transport. Obtain and return blood and blood products from the Blood Bank following established procedures. Adhere to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment as required. CPR certification required within 60 days of hire. Act 34, Act 33, Act 73, and FBI fingerprinting background clearances required.
