Job Summary
Maintain critical infrastructure supporting environmental intelligence and fleet safety by managing Linux systems, performing cybersecurity hardening, and configuring cross-domain solutions. Monitor and manage performance to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Navy meteorological and oceanographic data. Identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in mission-critical networks while translating metrics into actionable information for clients. Support the transfer of petabytes of data used for high-performance computing in a classified environment. Requires Top Secret clearance and 3+ years of Red Hat Linux administration experience.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience administering Red Hat Linux Systems in a moderate-to-large enterprise data center setting
- 3+ years of experience conducting cybersecurity hardening and system maintenance in accord with Federal or DoW RMF cybersecurity accreditation and authorization requirements
- Experience supporting IT systems in a classified environment
- Knowledge of Apache NiFi, its software components, and configuration
- Top Secret clearance
- HS diploma or GED
- Systems administration certification such as COMPTIA Security+ CE
- Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
- Top Secret clearance is required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience managing and on-premise configuring cross-domain solution (CDS) hardware and software
- Experience with Everfox High-Speed Guard (HGS) and Everfox Trusted Gateway Solutions (TGS) systems
- TS/SCI clearance
