Job Summary
Process inbound receiving and outbound shipping transactions accurately within the Warehouse Management System, auditing freight against packing lists, bills of lading, and manifests to ensure inventory accuracy. Coordinate cross-dock operations with third-party logistics personnel to facilitate efficient freight flow, trailer loading, and unloading. Serve as the primary point of contact for shipping discrepancies, damaged freight, and system-related issues by utilizing customer portals and internal processes. Maintain complete and accurate shipping documentation, including digital records and photographic evidence of non-compliant shipments. This fast-paced role requires regular walking throughout warehouse and dock areas, frequent interaction with associates, carriers, and customers, and the ability to work in varying temperatures while following safety procedures. Flexible hours, including overtime and weekends, are available for both 1st and 2nd shifts. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in warehouse, cross dock, transportation, or logistics operations
- Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word
- Experience coordinating shipments with carriers and third-party logistics providers
- Ability to interpret shipping documentation, including bills of lading, packing lists, and manifests
- Must be available to work flexible hours, including overtime or weekends as required to support inbound and outbound operations
- 1st and 2nd shift available
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-focused with the ability to build positive working relationships with internal and external partners
- Adaptable, dependable, and able to manage changing priorities while meeting operational deadlines
