Job Summary
The Cross Dock CDL Class A Driver is responsible for safely operating a truck to deliver company transfers and customer orders. The role involves driving a vehicle with a gross weight over 10,001 lbs., loading/unloading products, verifying deliveries, and maintaining paperwork. Candidates should have a CDL Class A license, at least 3 years of driving experience, and must be knowledgeable of DOT regulations. The position requires physical stamina to drive for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and an openness to night-time work. Compliance with safety standards and company policies is essential.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- 3+ years of related experience required
- 2+ years of commercial driving and warehouse related experience
- Accredited commercial driving school certificate
- CDL Class A license
- Fully DOT qualified
- Valid driver’s license with proper endorsement
- Acceptable driving record
- At least 21 years of age
- Meet DOT testing and physical requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Forklift certified preferable
