Cross Country Coach (Volunteer/Non-paid)

Conduct the Head Coach role over and beyond classroom teaching duties under general supervision, implementing approved athletic policies and interpreting state and conference regulations for staff. Train and inform coaching staff, delegate specific duties, and evaluate assistant effectiveness at season's end while maintaining discipline and increasing morale. Provide constant attention to student athletes' grades and conduct, ensuring presence at all practices and games, and initiating programs for injury and emergency medical attention. Manage equipment storage, inventory, and maintenance, securing facilities and authorizing access, while assisting the Athletic Director with scheduling, transportation, and tournament requirements.
