Job Summary
Assistant Coach for Cross Country at Briar Woods High School. Collaborate with the head athletic coach to operate a well-structured program and work with the athletic department. Attend all staff meetings during the season and carry out duties designated by the head athletic coach. Recommend equipment and supplies for the sports program and suggest disciplinary actions regarding players violating training rules. Foster sportsmanship, pride for the school and community among athletes, and perform other duties related to the position as requested by the principal and/or athletic director.
Required Qualifications
- Coaching experience or participation in the sport which you are applying for on high school or college levels
- Completion of CPR and First Aid training or enrollment in current CPR and First Aid training course
- Prefer experience as a teacher or classified employee in Loudoun County Public Schools
- Prefer a Virginia Teaching License candidate or a full-time classified employee for Loudoun County Public Schools
