Job Summary

Monitor cross-border shipments from pickup through final delivery using TMS, carrier portals, GPS tracking systems, and ELD platforms to ensure accurate status updates. Investigate shipment delays, detentions, route deviations, and border-related issues by coordinating with carriers, brokers, and customers to resolve transportation exceptions. Facilitate seamless border crossings by working with customs brokers and verifying pickups, transfers, and deliveries meet customer requirements. Provide timely shipment status updates to customers and internal stakeholders via email, phone, and portals while maintaining compliance with cross-border documentation. This role operates within a fast-paced 3PL environment in Monterrey, Mexico, supporting end-to-end visibility for freight moving between Mexico, the United States, and Canada.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, dispatch, tracking & tracing, customer service, or supply chain operations

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with cross-border freight operations between Mexico and the United States preferred
  • Experience working in a 3PL environment strongly preferred
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish highly preferred
