Crop Associate Underwriter

Associate Underwriter in the Crop Division is based in Fresno, CA, with on-site work four days a week and one remote day. Responsibilities include applying rules and guidelines, reviewing and underwriting new and renewal policy transactions within written authority, entering and auditing policy information, reviewing premium and loss data, assessing risk for new and renewal business, reviewing insurance applications and risk documentation, gathering information to support underwriting decisions, investigating discrepancies, coordinating required reports and endorsements, ensuring data integrity, communicating with agents and customers to obtain information, and providing support to underwriters. The role emphasizes underwriter decision support, organized handling of underwriting information, and timely issuance of policies and endorsements. Education preferred is an Associates Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field or equivalent experience.
