Job Summary
Apply rules, insurance laws, and regulations to review, document, and underwrite new and renewal policy transactions within written authority. Analyze individual risk pricing for submissions and renewals, prove policy information, and monitor data integrity to avoid systemic issues. Gather information on new business and change requests, investigate discrepancies, and communicate with agents and customers to obtain necessary underwriting data. Research questions from agents, order required reports, and organize underwriting information to speed decision-making. Provide timely information needed to issue policies and endorsements.
Required Qualifications
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship
- Education: Associates Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field or equivalent experience
Desired Qualifications
- Crop insurance experience is preferred, but not required
