Job Summary
Operates commercial sprayer or floater for applying crop inputs to producer fields; operates and maintains single or tandem axle trucks and equipment; records application data and ensures proper loading, blending, and distribution of products while complying with pesticide labels, OSHA/DOT standards, and company procedures. Performs daily safety checks, inventories, and data recording; supports equipment maintenance and soil sampling as part of agronomy services.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- CDL license with required endorsements
- valid medical card
- must hold and maintain, or have the ability to obtain, all required pesticide or fertilizer applicator licenses or certifications in states where crop production inputs are applied
- 0-2 years of related work experience
- ability to work extended hours and on-call
- pre-trip inspections and safety checks
- DOT standards knowledge
- lift 51-70 lbs.
