Crop Agronomy Lead

Job Summary
Lead the development and execution of crop-specific agronomy strategies to support product evaluation, commercialization, and market positioning. Drive product testing, hybrid advancement decisions, and registration support, collaborate with SPD, Production, Sales, and Marketing to optimize product performance and farmer profitability, design and oversee agronomic trials across environments, prepare product positioning recommendations, and provide technical and training support to internal teams and customers. Responsibilities include coordinating with universities for hybrid testing, guiding the SPD team on portfolio gaps, executing sampling for ramp-up, and driving initiatives for future technologies while monitoring environmental factors, pest/disease pressures, and market dynamics. Requires MSc in Agriculture and 8-10 years of relevant experience, with strong strategic thinking, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum MSc in Agriculture
- 8-10 years of experience in agronomy function: Product testing, evaluation and commercialization
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities
- Good communication skills
- Customer orientation & stakeholder management skills
