Job Summary
GENERAL OVERVIEW: This role provides anesthetic care for patients in the surgical setting, including assessments and plans for anesthesia care, documentation, continuous observation under anesthesia, collaboration with attending physicians, participation in performance/quality initiatives, adherence to AANA standards, and potential mentorship of staff or students. The position requires current PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure via eNLC, and certification as a CRNA, along with CPR, background clearances, and advanced life support certifications. Required Qualifications
- Minimum Current State of PA RN licensure OR Current multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC)
- Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board of Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists
- CPR – American Heart Association
- Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate
- Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Criminal Background Clearance Certificate
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) - American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - American Heart Association
- Preferred Previous CRNA experience
