Job Summary
CRNA to administer anesthesia and related care in a fast-paced outpatient surgery center in West Mifflin, collaborating with supervising physicians, surgeons, and a multidisciplinary team. Responsibilities include pre-anesthetic preparation, induction, maintenance, emergence, post-anesthesia care, and peri-anesthesia support; ensure compliance with controlled substances policies; assist with teaching and evaluation of SRNAs/GRNAs; document review for informed consent and surgical site verification with OR staff and surgeons; participate in Quality Improvement processes through documentation, incident reporting, evaluation, education, and implementation. Master's degree preferred; requires PA RN licensure, CRNA certification, CPR, and institution-specific ACLS/PALS as required; relocation assistance and sign-on opportunities are offered; ongoing professional growth via a structured career ladder and benefits package.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia education program required
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Board Certified, Recertified or eligible by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists
- CPR required based on AHA standards
- ACLS/PALS certifications as required by institution upon hire
- Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
- Act 33 with renewal
- Act 34 with renewal
- Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
