Job Summary
Provide anesthesia care for pediatric and adult special-needs patients undergoing restorative dental and oral surgery in an Ambulatory Surgery Center setting. Deliver general anesthesia support across three operating rooms with approximately seven to ten cases per day. Care for patients under the medical direction of an on-site anesthesiologist within a collaborative care team model. Participate in nine-hour scheduled operating room days while collaborating with surgical staff.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia program (MSN, DNP, or DNAP)
- Current NBCRNA certification
- Active North Carolina RN and APRN/CRNA license or eligibility to obtain
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certification as applicable
- Experience providing anesthesia care, preferably in an ASC setting
- Comfortable working with pediatric and adult special-needs patients
- Ability to work within a care team model with anesthesiologist medical direction
- Clean licensure and malpractice history
- Strong clinical, communication, and teamwork skills
