Job Summary
Provide safe general and regional anesthetic experiences for assigned patients under the guidance of attending surgeons while meeting established surgical standards. Manage anesthesia supplies and equipment in the Operating Room and promote teamwork with physicians and other departments. Demonstrate expertise in anesthesia administration, ensure adherence to Surgical Standards and Recommended Practices, and foster collaboration to achieve optimal patient outcomes. Handle a diverse caseload including complex vascular, thoracic, acute care, and high-risk OB cases within a team-based model. Enjoy a predictable work schedule with minimal call at a tertiary care Level II Trauma Center.
Required Qualifications
- Current Washington State Registered Nurse License and Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner License
- Current Certification as a CRNA through the National Board of Certification & Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
- Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority needed for specific practice
- Strong knowledge of current anesthesia practices and procedures
- Aptitude for detail and strong organizational skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to respond appropriately in stressful or emergent situations
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
