Job Summary
Provide anesthesia care for obstetric cases including labor analgesia and cesarean deliveries. Conduct pre-anesthesia assessments and post-anesthesia evaluations while responding promptly to urgent and emergent OB anesthesia needs. Collaborate closely with OB physicians, nursing staff, and perioperative teams to maintain accurate and timely patient documentation. Deliver safe, evidence-based anesthesia care in compliance with hospital standards. This 24-hour in-house coverage runs from 7:00 AM to 7:00 AM with flexible per diem scheduling based on departmental needs. Compensation is $3,800 per shift. Required Qualifications
- Current certification as a CRNA
- Active California RN and APRN licensure
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- 24-hour in-house coverage shifts from 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM
- CRNA must remain in-house for the duration of the shift
- Flexible per diem scheduling based on departmental needs
Desired Qualifications
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred
- Prior OB anesthesia experience strongly preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and ability to work independently in high-acuity settings
