Job Summary
Provide anesthesia services in nine operating rooms under on-site medical direction, managing cardiac, orthopedic, general surgery, vascular, and trauma cases. Perform spinals, epidurals, and blocks with prescriptive authority. Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with home-based OR call from 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM requiring a 20-minute response time; OB call is in-house. No post-call day off is provided. Board certification is required for this locums assignment covering sporadic dates from September through December. Credentialing typically takes 60 to 90 days.
