Job Summary
Provide anesthesia services in nine operating rooms at a multi-specialty medical center, covering cardiac, orthopedic, general surgery, vascular, and trauma cases. Administer spinals, epidurals, and blocks while working day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with home-based OR call and in-house OB call requiring a 20-minute response time. Maintain board certification and a clean file for temporary privileges, as credentialing takes 60 to 90 days. This sporadic locum tenens assignment runs from September through December, primarily for vacation coverage, with minimal on-site MD supervision.
