Job Summary
Provide anesthesia services in the operating room under a supervision model with MDs on-site, managing case mix including cardiac, orthopedic, general surgery, vascular, and trauma procedures. Perform spinals, epidurals, and blocks while adhering to a day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with home-based OR call coverage from 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM requiring a 20-minute response time. Maintain a clean file for temporary privileges, noting that credentialing typically takes 60 to 90 days. Board certification is required for this locum tenens assignment covering sporadic dates across September through December.
