Job Summary
Provide anesthesia services in nine operating rooms, including cardiac, orthopedic, general surgery, vascular, and trauma cases, under on-site MD supervision with minimal oversight. Perform spinals, epidurals, and blocks while managing day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM and home-based OR call from 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM with a 20-minute response time. Maintain a clean file for temporary privileges, as credentialing takes 60 to 90 days. Board certification is required for this sporadic locum tenens assignment covering vacation dates through December.
