Job Summary
Provide anesthesia services in nine operating rooms, including cardiac, orthopedic, general surgery, vascular, and trauma procedures, under on-site medical direction. Perform spinals, epidurals, and blocks with prescriptive authority. Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with home-based OR call from 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM requiring a 20-minute response time; OB call is in-house. No post-call day off is provided. Board certification is required for temporary privileges, which typically take 60 to 90 days. Schedule consists of sporadic dates across September through December primarily for vacation coverage.
