Job Summary
Provide anesthesia services in nine operating rooms, including cardiac, orthopedic, general surgery, vascular, and trauma cases. Perform spinals, epidurals, and blocks with prescriptive authority under a supervision model where MDs are on-site. Work day shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM with home-based OR call from 3:00 PM to 7:00 AM requiring a 20-minute response time. Board certification is mandatory for this locum tenens assignment covering sporadic dates from September through December. Credentialing typically takes 60 to 90 days at this multi-specialty medical center in Terre Haute, Indiana.
