Job Summary
CRNA needed for locum tenens coverage in an on-site operating room in Hartford, CT. Provide comprehensive anesthesia care for diverse surgical cases including general, ENT, orthopedic, neurological spine, robotics, endoscopic, vascular, urology, OB/GYN, pediatric, and spinal procedures. Work under supervision with an anesthesiologist, during day shifts Monday through Friday, with flexible scheduling options (36 or 40 hours weekly; 4x10 or 3x12 hour shifts). Call coverage is negotiable based on candidate availability. Cases involve high acuity patients with significant medical comorbidities rather than routine healthy surgical candidates. Case load varies with supervision model in place.
Required Qualifications
- CRNA certification or eligibility
- board certification negotiable
- current licensure in Connecticut (or applicable state)
- ability to work under supervision of an anesthesiologist
- experience with diverse surgical cases (general, ENT, orthopedic, spine, robotics, endoscopic, vascular, urology, OB/GYN, pediatric) is preferred
