Job Summary
Conduct pre-operative evaluations, anesthesia planning, and patient education for scheduled, urgent, and emergent procedures across urology, OB, endoscopy, general surgery, and DAC. Deliver safe, high-quality anesthesia using current techniques and manage patient care during surgery, ensuring safe transition to PACU or appropriate units. Respond to airway and life-support emergencies, supervise anesthesia technicians, and participate in maintaining 24/7 anesthesia coverage through shared responsibilities. Mentor Student Registered Nurse Anesthetists within a collaborative surgical team environment. New graduates accepted and encouraged to apply.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Anesthesia program (COA/AANA approved)
- Certified (or eligible) through the NBCRNA
- Eligible for or holds South Carolina RN license and CRNA recognition
- Meets requirements for ongoing recertification
- Ability to provide anesthesia across a variety of surgical cases
- Comfortable working within a collaborative, team-based model
