Job Summary
CRNA will provide anesthesia for inpatient procedures within a level 1 trauma center, collaborating with the medical team to ensure peri-operative care, mentoring Student Nurse Anesthetists, maintaining patient safety and documentation, and contributing to cost containment and quality initiatives. Responsibilities include precepting SRNAs, clinical decision-making to determine appropriate care plans, adherence to confidentiality, flexibility in scheduling, teamwork, and ongoing professional development. Requires graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program and North Carolina RN licensure with NBCRNA certification/recertification; CPR with ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation of an Accredited Nurse Anesthesia Program
- Master’s Degree or Higher Required
- Registered Nurse licensure from the State of North Carolina Board of Nursing
- Current CPR Certification – ACLS, BLS
- Current or Recertified to practice as a Nurse Anesthetist by the National Board
