Job Summary
CRNA position at Endeavor Health within the Department of Anesthesiology. CRNAs work in a collaborative Anesthesia Care Team (ACT), performing regional anesthesia including spinal blocks and peripheral nerve blocks across a wide age range (pediatrics through geriatrics). Under the direction of the chief of Anesthesiology and attending anesthesiologists, CRNAs provide patient care with a broad scope of practice. Schedule includes Monday–Friday, 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. with possible off-shifts; location at Elmhurst Hospital. Required Qualifications
- Advanced Practicing Nurse License in Illinois
- Graduate of approved School of Nurse Anesthesia
- Certified or Board eligible for CRNA
- Maintains recertification every two years
- BLS for Healthcare Provider and ACLS required
- PALS certification recommended
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in anesthesia care teams
- Regional anesthesia experience (spinals, PNBs)
- CRNA with active Illinois license
- Board eligible/certified as CRNA
- BLS for Healthcare Providers
- ACLS certification
