Job Summary
CRNA at Endeavor Health works within the Department of Anesthesiology as part of an Anesthesia Care Team (ACT). The role involves patient care across all ages (neonates to geriatrics) with diverse case variety including Neuro, Cardiac, Gen Surg, Thoracic, Urology, Plastics, Ortho, OB, Optho and off-site locations such as IR, Cath Lab, GI and MRI. CRNAs may participate in cardiac procedures (CABG, TAVR, ECMO, LVADs) and may serve as clinical instructors for SRNAs, performing regional anesthesia (spinals and PNBs). Work environment emphasizes mentorship, leadership opportunities, and professional growth. Requires Illinois Advanced Practice Nurse License, graduate of an approved School of Nurse Anesthesia, CRNA certification or eligibility, and BLS/ACLS; PALS recommended. Travel is limited among NorthShore facilities in IL; full-time schedule typically Monday–Friday with some off-shifts.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced Practicing Nurse License in Illinois
- Graduate of approved School of Nurse Anesthesia
- Certified or Board eligible for certification as CRNA
- BLS for Healthcare Provider and ACLS required
