Job Summary
CRNA at Elmhurst Hospital works within the Department of Anesthesiology's ACT to provide anesthesia care across age groups from pediatrics to geriatrics, including regional anesthesia such as spinal and peripheral nerve blocks, across diverse case types (Neuro, Gen Surg, Thoracic, Urology, Plastics, Ortho, Optho, IR, Cath Lab, GI, MRI). Requires licensure as an Advanced Practice Nurse in Illinois, graduation from an approved School of Nurse Anesthesia, and board-certified or board-eligible CRNA status, with BLS/CPR and ACLS (PALS recommended). Schedule options include Full-Time and Part-Time, with hours Monday–Friday 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. and rotating holidays; some off-shifts may be required. Required Qualifications
- Illinois Advanced Practicing Nurse License
- Graduate of approved School of Nurse Anesthesia
- Certified or Board eligible for CRNA certification
- BLS/CPR for Healthcare Provider
- ACLS certifications required
- PALS recommended
