Job Summary
CRNA at Elmhurst Hospital within the Department of Anesthesiology works as part of an Anesthesia Care Team (ACT) delivering patient care from pediatrics to geriatrics. Responsibilities include providing clinical assignments under the direction of the chief and designated attending anesthesiologist, performing regional anesthesia (including Spinals and PNBs), and contributing to a diverse case mix (Neuro, Gen Surg, Thoracic, Urology, Plastics, Ortho, Optho, IR, Cath Lab, GI, MRI). Must maintain Illinois RN license and nurse anesthesia education, be board-eligible or certified as CRNA, and hold BLS/CPR and ACLS (PALS recommended). Required Qualifications
- License : Advanced Practicing Nurse License in the state of Illinois.
- Education : Graduate of approved School of Nurse Anesthesia.
- Certified or Board eligible for certification as CRNA.
- Certification : BLS/CPR for Healthcare Provider and ACLS certifications required. PALS recommended.
