Essential duties include ensuring patient safety through ongoing assessment of airway, anesthesia depth, fluids status, and physiologic response; preparing and administering medications; reviewing and documenting patient data and surgical records; completing the surgical safety checklist and other required documentation; maintaining a safe environment and responding to emergencies; and performing other duties as assigned. Education required is graduation from an accredited nurse anesthesia program.
